About the Event

In this 90 minute session, you will develop more fluency with the language of your own body. You’ll learn to tap into your body's intuitive knowing, witnessed and supported by others, using somatic and narrative tools to envision the future you want... now.

Who is it for?

Anyone who wishes to access a place of grounded, inspired creation, or experience more aliveness in any part of life.

What happens during these sessions?

1. Techniques to

----deepen your own body awareness

----expand your capacity to be present in the experience with acceptance and compassion

----uncover your body’s language to describe your sensations

----understand what that means to YOU

2. Tools to Self Regulate

3. Breath, Sound and Movement to metabolize & alchemize the emotions present in your experience

4. Free-writing, drawing, or other solo-self-expression of your choice, 1-1 connection time, and group conversation to ideate & create, harnessing and sharing the momentum and inspiration revealed through the process.

Why are we doing these sessions now? Disruption is the place where the potential for change is greatest. And collective disruption allows for even greater change, if it can be met in a grounded, inspired, alive place. As we reckon with the shifts of the past 2 years (isolation, changes in social norms, workplace, risk tolerance, and relationships) it's critical to be in conversation with our bodies so that we can move through, rather than avoid, our experiences... and meet our circumstances with integrity.

Where are sessions held?

Zoom in order to cultivate

----Increased feelings of safety for you to join from your own space

----Convenience - ability to use your own materials and spaces

----Ease of access for people in any area or with transportation or mobility challenges

Who will lead these sessions?

Sarah Selim

A longtime student of many body-based arts, including somatics, singing, Taekwondo, Aikido, and Tai Chi, Sarah continues to be fascinated by what it takes to live an authentic life! With a background in education, organizational development, a broad range of startup experience, and a MBA, Sarah supports individuals and organizations in the midst of transformation. Having lived and traveled to over 30 countries, Sarah brings a love and curiosity of what it is that makes us human to everything she does.

Molly Kittle

A catalyst for connection, Molly upholds the crucial role of story in our lives; using a narrative approach to help individuals and groups (re)claim their voice so they can stand in their power and live their purpose. She brings people together in creative, authentic and brave ways, through her ongoing STORY events, workshops, pop-ups, coaching, and consulting. With a background in Experimental Theatre and Business Strategy, Molly brings a unique mix of tools to bear to unlock our authentic voice and tap into the power of raising our voices together.

This collaboration is more evidence of the magic we create in the space between us.
